Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms set out the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of Platie (the “Company”) and its users in connection with the use of the Company’s food-logging and dining-diary mobile application and related services (the “Service”).

Article 2 (Definitions)

Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of Terms)

The Company posts these Terms within the Service or on a linked screen. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. Amendments will be announced at least 7 days in advance, stating the effective date and reason — or at least 30 days in advance where the change is unfavorable to users or otherwise material. If a user continues to use the Service after the amended Terms take effect, the user is deemed to have accepted the amendment.

Article 4 (Formation of the Agreement)

The agreement is formed when a user accepts these Terms and completes sign-up by email or a social account (Apple, Google, Kakao, Naver, and the like). Children under the age of 14 may be restricted from signing up.

Users may close their account at any time using the in-app feature. The Company may restrict use or terminate the agreement where a user breaches these Terms.

Article 10 (Disclaimers)

Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes relating to use of the Service shall be brought before the court of first instance having jurisdiction under applicable law.

Article 13 (Language)

These Terms are executed in Korean, which is the official text. Any translation the Company provides into English, Japanese, or another language is offered solely for the user’s convenience. In the event of any conflict or discrepancy between a translation and the Korean original, the Korean original prevails.
